Valerie’s House was recently featured on CNBC as part of The American Dream TV, a nationally recognized lifestyle series that spotlights organizations and communities making a meaningful impact.
The segment highlights the Valerie’s House Fort Myers Family is Forever Home and the thoughtfully designed spaces that help grieving children, teens, and families feel safe, supported, and connected after the death of a loved one.
Hosted by interior designer and television personality Jolene Hardy, the feature tours several unique spaces inside the home, including the Butterfly Room, Farmhouse Room, Art Room, and the welcoming front and back porches. Each space was intentionally created to encourage comfort, conversation, and healing for families navigating grief.
Jolene also shares a personal connection to Valerie’s House through her partner, Shaun, one of the organization’s counselors. Her involvement brought both professional expertise and heartfelt understanding to the project.
The Fort Myers Family is Forever Home serves as a central hub for Valerie’s House programs in Southwest Florida, providing no-cost peer support groups, grief counseling, and resources for children and families coping with loss.
The national CNBC feature helps shine a light on the importance of childhood grief support and the growing need for services that help kids and teens process grief in healthy ways.
