Slaw Dog Invitational Supports Valerie’s House and Local Nonprofits
The 29th Annual Paul Sands Memorial Slaw Dog Invitational raised an incredible $59,000 to support Southwest Florida nonprofits, including Valerie’s House.
As highlighted by Florida Weekly, the longtime charity golf tournament brought together golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and community members at Cypress Lake Golf Club for a day focused on generosity and community impact.
Proceeds from the event benefited Valerie’s House, Blessings in a Backpack, and the FGCU REIS Scholarship Fund.
Support from events like the Slaw Dog Invitational helps Valerie’s House continue providing no-cost grief support groups, counseling, and resources for grieving children, teens, and caregivers throughout Southwest Florida.
Valerie’s House is grateful to the organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this year’s tournament a success.
