Valerie’s House Grief Support for Children in Northwest Florida
Valerie’s House Northwest Florida
Valerie’s House expanded its services to Northwest Florida in late 2020, launching peer grief support groups in early 2021 and opening a permanent home for families in December 2022. Today, children, teens, and caregivers across our community come together in a safe, supportive space to share their stories, honor their loved ones, and learn that they are not alone in their grief.
If you are interested in enrolling a child or family member in the Valerie’s House Northwest Florida program or you have any questions, please contact us at info@ValeriesHouse.org or (850) 582-8255.
Can we help your family?

Meet Crista Brandt, Northwest Florida Director
Crista Brandt is a Pensacola resident and the Northwest Florida Director for Valerie’s House, leading the growth of our Pensacola chapter. Like our Founder, Angela Melvin Churchill, Crista lost her mother to cancer when she was 11 years old, and her grief remained repressed for many years. Now, Crista is dedicated to helping grieving children in the Panhandle and is actively collaborating with business leaders to expand Valerie’s House Pensacola. Please reach out to her at Crista@ValeriesHouseNWFL.org.
