Attorney Dedicates VH Memory Garden in honor of her Grandmother
Fayer openly volunteers her time and services at little to no cost to help grieving families with legal issues that might arise as a result of their loss, which lifts a heavy burden off of many of our families. She says the mission of Valerie’s House resonates with her because of her own experience with loss.

“I think children need and deserve a place where they can heal,” Fayer said. “It’s really hard.”
Fayer lost her grandmother and best friend, Grace, when Kelly was just 17-years-old. Today, a tribute to Kelly’s grandmother resides in the backyard of Valerie’s House-Fort Myers.
Grace’s Garden is a sacred space for Kelly and the grieving children of Valerie’s House filled with flowers & memorial trees. The kids spend time in the garden during group night where they talk about their special person.
“Angela understood my loss and my family’s loss,” Kelly said. “She understood that it has a profound impact on us to this day. As devastating of a loss this was, the only thing that could make it worse would be not sharing my Grammy with everyone else.”
She also said she is grateful to have been able to honor her grandmother in such a symbolic way as Fayer’s passion for helping others is what drives her to make an impact on families’ lives.
Valerie’s House is honored that Fayer’s law practice, Law Office of Kelly L. Fayer, P.A. is one of our top sponsors for our Sunset Campaign. We are so thankful to have her a part of the Valerie’s House family.
“In these tough times, I am continuing to support Valerie’s House – no matter the circumstances,” Fayer said. “Just because things have changed doesn’t mean that the children don’t need us less. They need us more.”
