Valerie’s House Grateful for Feature in the Daily Sun

We are deeply thankful to the Daily Sun for highlighting the work we do at Valerie’s House to support grieving families in Southwest Florida. Since 2016, we’ve provided a safe space for children and caregivers to heal after the loss of a loved one.

In Charlotte County, our permanent home in Punta Gorda has made a profound difference. Families come together for peer-support groups, family dinners, and grief counseling. As Tara Zajas, Director of Valerie’s House Charlotte County, said, "This home allows us to support not only children but also their grieving caregivers."

At Valerie’s House, we’re proud to offer a safe haven where no child grieves alone.
