What We Believe About Grief
At Valerie’s House, we are constantly learning from the grieving family members who we help. Between our team’s experiences with these families, the clinical knowledge of our team members who are mental health professionals, and constant research in this evolving field of study, here is what we believe about grief at Valerie’s House.
· Each person has the capacity to heal.
· Grief is individual.
· Grief is personal.
· There is no timeline for grieving.
· Grief comes in waves.
· You don’t just get over grief, you learn to live with it.
