Valerie’s House Celebrates National Mentoring Month
/January is National Mentoring Month, a time to honor the life-changing impact mentors have on children and teens. At Valerie’s House, mentorship is a core part of our mission to help grieving families heal.
Many of the children and teens we support are navigating the loss of a parent, sibling, or loved one. Having a mentor—someone to listen, guide, and encourage—can make a world of difference in their journey toward healing and hope.
We’re incredibly thankful for the mentors in our Valerie’s House family, like Aaron White, who shared, “I always encourage dads out there to think about being a mentor. You spend just a few minutes with the kids here, and you fall in love with what Valerie’s House does.”
If you’re looking to make an impact this National Mentoring Month, consider joining us as a mentor. Together, we can ensure no child has to grieve alone.
