We’re proud to announce that Kristalyn Loson Atwood, the newly appointed Board Chair of Valerie’s House, has been named one of è Bella Magazine’s Women to Watch in the April 2025 edition.

As a founding board member of Valerie’s House and a respected Fort Myers nonprofit attorney, Kristalyn has been instrumental in shaping the organization’s growth since the very beginning. She volunteered at our first group night in 2016, sitting side-by-side with founder and CEO Angela Melvin Churchill to help support grieving children and families.

For the past nine years, Kristalyn has guided Valerie’s House with dedication, compassion, and legal expertise—helping us expand our reach across Southwest Florida. She and her family have supported our mission every step of the way, making a lasting impact on the thousands of families we serve.
